Question by margotm13: Why would an ER doctor suggest NLP to my friend?
My friend had a lot to drink and was really emotional the other day. We took her to the ER where they helped her and when she felt better the doctor told her she should investigate NLP, to help her work through some issues. However she read up on it and said that is was all about copying the body language of successful people. Why would the ER doctor have suggested it?
This is also the first time she has ever done anything like this.

As your friend was emotional, the ER doctor suggested it as part of psychotherapy.
