It is pretty honest of you to discuss it - Derren Brown talks about something similar in ‘Tricks of the Mind’ as he was someone initially interested in NLP who ended up thinking most of it was hokum.

Good on you man…I think that this step gives you a great deal more integrity as well as seperates you from (to be candid) a sorta sheisty group of schemers. I’ve always found your material to be much more practical, functional, and well conceived than that pop-psych bunk bullshit. Again, more respect points to you and your organization!

I teach hypnosis and clinical interactions for MD’s at a number of good schools in the US and “NLP”, while a good compendium of stuff, is, alas, the psychology of semantics. anyone who understands the difference between ‘its just semantics!’ and ‘its all semantics’ can understand it. sorry for your troubles but F ‘em. keep up the good work

Excellent video. I spent a few years studying NLP, bought a number of books and DVDs and was sucked into the clever talk and demonstrations, but I eventually came to realise how much of a financial con it was becoming too.
There are some good NLP practices for sure, but finding them amid all the theoretical and academic bullshit is no easy task.

Great stuff! This was obviously for the best. I’m sure you’ll both move on and find someone nice, or maybe just be single for awhile and play the field. Combative Psychology is a great idea. I have a certification through Mario Leone in Combat Psychology and it opened my eyes even further to the mind set needed for survival. Keep up the great work!
