and tho I am not quivering in my boots or something about making a decision, it stops me in my tracks sometimes. particularly boys, like my brother says if you had a baby your on your own. I won’t help you. Sister says, when you marry a non christian you get depression. Like what the f! What kind of ideas are these to pass on to others, are they supposed to be empowering? I think they are supposed to stop you from doing anything and make them feel strong and alive

do you see what I mean tho, one fear / block disappears and then as moving forward it tries to appear in something else which is silly how the mind works, something I’ve noticed, why is that? I know it is partly that the unconscious part of me wants to keep me safe and that it also mulls over the things that other people / family / friends / etc safe said done and that they dump a lot of their fears on those around

do you know, I wouldn’t have dared say any of this stuff before Phobia Day! Thanks RB. Plus I like how he put some stuff in there about being able to stick up for yourself + have good times too! As was a stuggle to do before cos of the fear, yet now amazingly now the fear is gone I don’t see any of it about! (see what I mean about life and karma) when u put fear stuff out it comes back, but when u put love and kindness and the good stuff out it comes back multiplied

.. you probably think i’m wimping out or something but at least I feel good again. When u r centered it is good and I want people around me who are loving and supportive like myself. If i notice fear in others I am compassionate towards them + remember what I learned at the nlp training to help them feel better too. It really works!

O well lots of questions! To be honest tho, it doesn’t really matter as I am fine as I am don’t need a husband / man? cos of the potential pain it could cause if it didn’t last forever (why do we want that do we get the idea from too many Meg Ryan movies!) Cos its never like that at all! or is that the fear making excuses? See what i’m saying?

@ the same time, what i wanted to say is that since then I have been asked out by a few boys / guys and I have not been going for it because I want 2 be more careful because I want to check out what kind of person they are and what they are after etc.

I trust myself, and have been turned nice guys down for dates for fear of what they want / a potential screw over, although I think it would be different now as something fairly major has changed in my since Phobia Day in a cool way which is good.

My point is that i learned a lot and feel great now. Better than i did before phobia day and getting it sorted, cos fear tends to create stuff that you don’t want so you need to nip that pesky fear stuff in the bud so you can create the life you want which perhaps defined personal power sort of i suppose. I make better choices now and am no longer drawn to the same things.

when out and chatting I could see he’s actually kind of closed as a person. Instead of listening to words, I actually watched what they were doing and going by instinct more and was totally tuned in to what was going on around me (before was clouded by fear) and knew that that is not the behaviour of someone who is being kind or loving, like if he had been tuned in to being a friend after ending it then he could have been sound and a friend understood ok..

he was a friend before we went out and he is very sociable and I had social phobia! he would push me to meet people and to go places I didn’t want to go to and then was scared and communicated fear when out instead of fun. Now, i love being around people and like meeting new folks and always have fun! ironicly he never called, I called him and we arranged to go out for a meal..

.. and then I suppose the going out into new things which is wonderful, very happy with it :0) what it is is that for instance boys, what do you do about them? I had my first serious thing with a boy for 5 years and then it didn’t work out lets just say. Turned out he was totally screwing me over and then dropped them (rubbish) thank god I was not ya know or I would have had to have taken care of it and he had already done a runner, he was not the person I thought he was at all

hi karasulas ,
Already did mate. Went to Richard’s Phobia Day and got totally cured! So that major fear thing is sorted and I can live my life much more fully and I feel much more powerful and stronger within my self. One thing tho, what I have noticed is that once one major fear is cured then a bunch of new possibiilities opens up and you r trying new stuff and meeting new people etc and (Hang on more to follow..)

There are a few really excellent techniques for dealing with what you have that you don’t want. I definitely recommend seeing an NLP professional who can talk you through them.

If it makes it more comfortable, you can email the practitioner and see how they sound when they reply to your email, just to make sure they are someone you can feel relaxed with.

Unlike John Grinder, Richard Bandler keeps NLP simple (elegant) rather than complicated.

I think RB may be more of a genius than even Einstein because of his study of the structure of subjectivity.

I heard richard is very good. I have a kind of phobia / anxiety that i’d like to have cured but not sure really on how to go about it. It is going to sound silly but I have developed a fear of people over the years, i want to feel strong, good enough and get rid of the negative self talk in my mind that compels me to run from people, new situations etc. cos i feel like my life has gotton smaller and smaller as fear holds me back. Not sure what to do

Richard Bandler is authentic and knows what he does and what he is talking about. He founded nlp I wish I could have the opportunity to sit in on one of his seminars or better yet have a session with him, if anyone out there knows how this could take place pleasee post it, thank you

we’ve all got personal problems…

Do you want to dwell on them, or do something that makes a difference?

Excellent video tidbits from the Master. Any way to crank up the audio a bit? Comes across rather soft.
